By simply making a $2.50 Community Bag purchase, shoppers give $1 back to a local nonprofit selected monthly by store leadership.

Bloomin’ 4 Good Program

For every purchase of a $10.99 bouquet in the sleeve marked “Bloomin’ 4 Good,” $1 is donated to a different hunger organization selected monthly by store leadership.

International Women in Jazz sets monthly record in
Stop & Shop Community Bag Program

August was a record-setting month for International Women in Jazz (IWJ) and Stop & Shop Store #522 at 111 Vredenburg Avenue, Yonkers, New York! IWJ was selected as the Community Bag Program benefiting nonprofit organization for the month of August by store management. Shoppers spoke loudly through their Community Bag purchases, and IWJ benefited to the tune of $4,026!

International Women in Jazz is committed to supporting women Jazz artists and related professionals. Through its programs, IWJ provides information and assistance to its members, thus standing dedicated to actively ensuring a place for women as a vital part of the past, present, and future of Jazz.
